How soon can my short-term policy start?
Typically your plan can start the next day from when your application is submitted and your first premium payment
is completed. In many cases this can be within 24-hours.
What should I do if I decide to get a standard policy?
Once you get an approval from the insurance company issuing your standard policy, simply contact the
insurance company who issued your short-term policy and cancel it. Only cancel your shor-term policy once
you recieve confirmation of your standard policy being approved.
What happens when my short-term policy ends?
Once your short-term policy ends, your provider will typically let you re-apply for another short-term plan.
When you re-apply, your coverage may change from your previous policy and most providers will only let
you re-apply once.
